Andrew Bird’s new track “Crown Salesman” has just dropped and it’s different, but then again, he isn’t known for pigeon-holing himself into one genre/style which is both evolutionary and revolutionary. If you haven’t seen Bird perform live, try to make it out when he next tours. He is one of those musical magicians that juggles multiple instruments on stage: a once “child prodigy” you imagine. Check out this live solo session of “Tenuousness”, shot as part of the Live From the Basement series… dear god I have wasted some time on that site… Respect for anyone who can live sample and whistle at the same time. Genius.
