The xx have premiered a live taste of what’s to come from their forthcoming album (due out this year) and I’m well excited! I’ve never seen Jamie or the band in any capacity (this travesty will be rectified at a certain Swedish festival in June) but until then, this half a song will have to suffice…

Watch the weirdest courtship EVER unfold between people who live in bins!?! Thanks to Magnetic Fields & the new video for their latest single “Quick” taken from their new album Love At The Bottom Of The Sea. This is so cool… it reminds me of that episode of the Mighty Boosh with the crack fox. Fans - you know what I mean.
I also love how this song bounds along joyfully and yet the lyrics are forthright and biting… “We’re on the brink of something, get me a drink of something… quick between your outrageous remarks, like the mating calls of sarcastic sharks.” - Genius.

Howler’s new video for “This One’s Different”…really simple concept, but shot really well… and I’ll be seeing you guys in the red-painted-flesh live at #Splendour in the Grass 2012. Howler are probably one of the lesser known (in Australia) and highly underrated bands on the bill - we put together our TOP 10 MUST SEE artists, check’em out.

This is one of the coolest Kanye West “Runaway” covers by Oberhofer I’ve heard! If you haven’t check out Oberhofer’s new album Time Capsules II, it’s a killer. I sneakily featured the track “Yr Face” in our TOP 5 Tracks of the Week. It’s not a single, but easily my favourite track off the album.
